So if you know my family, you know that we love to eat :). We have been in Turin for about two months now and have been adventuring out to a few places to eat. Apparently, Turin is best known for their meat. The last two places we have been in Italy, we were near water so there was an abundance of seafood. So far, I can't say I have a favorite dish, but I do love all of the options here. There is a restaurant down the street that I love. The menu is simple, but delicious and the staff are really sweet. They don't speak much english, but somehow we understand what one another are saying.
It's something about french fries in Italy that put our American french fries to shame. I mean I can eat them all day long! The lasagna is so simple, but so delicious. I've now decided to simplify all of my recipes at home because it is healthier and that's what they do and it tastes good- so why not?
