Getting my life right!

     Now that I have two kids I sometimes feel swamped!  Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my two kiddos and husband, but lately I feel overwhelmed and exhausted, but from nothing.  On days where I feel I was super productive with the kids, I lack feeling accomplished on my personal side.  I have things I want to get done this summer and get on a daily routine (not schedule-apparently there is a big difference), but it is a lot harder than I thought.  So I did a little internet hunting to get some tips from other moms and I can honestly say I feel a lot better and motivated to make some positive changes for us!
     I definitely want our family to eat better so weekly meal planning on the weekends seems like a great idea.  Also, waking up thirty minutes before the kids everyday seems reasonable and it will help me get myself together.  I mean, I would like a childless shower every once and awhile and abs circuits in the morning would help.  I am in the midst of creating another branch of The Curly Roots and I can't wait to share with you.  So, I needed to get a little confidence from fellow moms out there that are super organized!  You ladies are my heroes.  I am serious!  I envy moms that have their own businesses with multiple children.  I am in awe of you and have no idea how you do it.

     I was also excited to stumble upon this book, Steady Days: A Journey Toward Intentional, Professional Motherhood.  I will be getting this on amazon at the end of the week :).

     I am in love with being a mommy and I want my kids to have the most fun, organized, and professional mommy around! So here goes, nothing.  If it doesn't work, I will try again!  I have to be realistic because it is so hard for me to change my ways, but I am going to do what I can, when I can!
